Chocolate & Walnut Brownies


Serves 12


  • 1 can drained and rinsed black beans

  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice

  • 1/4 cup of honey or monk fruit sweetener

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup dark choc chips

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Grease a 9x9 baking dish or tin with coconut oil

  3. blend all ingredients except walnuts and choc chips in food processer until smooth

  4. mix in chopped walnuts and choc chips

  5. Press your mixture into the baking dish and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until just firm to touch

  6. Allow to cool before removing from tin and cutting up in 12 squares

These brownies are gluten free, refined sugar free and flour-less! You won’t even know they have black beans in them at all!
